The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes at French Camp Elementary, along with their teachers Ms. Kylie, Ms. Crystal, and Ms. Kelley, would like to send a sincere thank you to our principal, Mrs. Vowell , and our counselor, Mrs. Parker, for their outstanding leadership here at FCE. We would also like to thank the school board members, Mr. Thomas, Mrs. McDaniel, Mrs. Orr, Mrs. Ashford, and Mr. Huffman for their dedication to making the students' education a top priority here in Choctaw County. For 2024-2025
The Choctaw County School District continues to provide pre-kindergarten classes for a limited number of children who will be four years old on or before September 1, 2024. The classes, funded through Title I Part A funds, are intended to provide early assistance to children as they transition to a formal education setting.
Screening for enrollment for 2024-2025 pre-kindergarten classes is scheduled for February 20 – March 1 at French Camp Elementary School. Contact Mrs. Parker, Counselor, at 662-547-7102 to schedule an appointment to have your child screened during the dates listed above.
The following documents must be provided by each child’s Parent/Guardian at the time of the student’s appointment for screening/enrollment:
Student’s Certified Birth Certificate
Mississippi Immunization Form 121
2 Proofs of Residency – Electric bill, Water bill, Gas bill, Solid Waste bill,
Landline phone bill, Filed Homestead exemption form. Mortgage or Property Deed, Apartment of home lease, Valid Drier’s License, Automobile/tag receipt (Utility bills need to be from December 2023, January 2024, or February 2024.)
