Students in Mrs. Telano’s 5th and 6th grade reading class worked extremely hard the month of February researching influential African Americans from the past and present. Each student was given a person to research and learn about. They then chose how to present their findings. These students chose to create poster boards to showcase their famous African American. Other students created a Google Slide presentation.

French Camp Elementary recently held a PENNY WAR to help raise money for a former student, John, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. All together we raised $2,550.00 for John and his family. 1st grade won the penny war and 2nd grade raised the most money. Both classes will be treated to a hamburger/hotdog cookout. Thank you to all the students and parents who supported this worthy cause.
